Founded by Jesse Joeckel, Whalebone is rooted in the coastal fishing town of Montauk, NY. They teamed up with their close friend, New Jersey shaper Charles Mencel for a special board collaboration. I got to document the full process in the shaping bay as Charles brought this bundle of boards to life with incredible care and intention. It was a masterclass in true craftsmanship.
